Hunter's Ambulance Service, Inc. continues to grow as a statewide Health Care provider established in 1963. Founders Vern and Barbara Hunter saw a dire need to assist people with medical transport. Their philosophy of "Concern for Others" has been the foundation and the heart of Hunter's success and large expansion. Hunter's Ambulance Service also offers non-emergency wheel chair services and special needs school transportation. EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN (ESOP)
In 2010, Hunter's Ambulance instituted an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), giving employees the opportunity to own private stock in the company. Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a retirement benefit that holds stock in Hunter's Ambulance Service, Inc. The size of the benefit you will receive in the future depends on the long-term performance of our company, your annual pay and your years of service. The better our company does, the larger your retirement benefit in our ESOP.
A key benefit of this plan is that our employees truly are owners, and therefore are more invested in the work they do. When employees have a sense of pride and ownership in the company, they strengthen its foundation and promote continued growth.
