Spirit Of Giving
Hunter's establishes a new
tradition in the city
of Meriden with the 1st Annual Emergency Services
Community "Spirit of Giving". With over 100
volunteers, which included members of EMT staff's, the fire
departments, and the police departments. Working together, these
volunteers and Santa Claus traveled in a parade of emergency and
police vehicles carrying over 200 wrapped gifts. The volunteers
made their way through Hubbard Park and then to visit the homes
of six families. This event provided spiritual support for these
families and brought everyone involved together to share the
Spirit of Giving. This is only the beginning to the Spirit of
Giving as it shall be continued for the years to come.
