Public Information & Education

At Hunter's Ambulance we know that education is critical to saving lives.  We are pleased to provide tips and information that will help people of all ages to be better prepared and more knowledgeable when faced with an emergency situation.  It is never too late to learn or too early to teach safety education.  We invite you to visit this site often as we will continually update our library of information.  If you have any further suggestions please Contact Us.

Emergency Etiquette - What you do before an emergency is just as important as what you do during an emergency. Prepare yourself by posting emergency telephone numbers for your area on each phone. Make sure your house numbers are clear and visible from the street. If you need emergency services at night, turn on the outside lights to help EMS responders find your location.  When speaking to a dispatcher, be prepared to tell what has happened, where it has happened, and your phone number. Always stay on the line until the dispatcher tells you to hang up. Remember, you can make the difference when seconds count.

WEB-Safe Kids - Hunter's Ambulance introduced an award-winning innovative community safety program into two fourth grade class rooms.
